Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 1, 2025
DIPSAC is designed from the ground up with your privacy in mind. All file processing happens locally in your browser — your data never reaches our servers.
Privacy at a Glance
DIPSAC is built with privacy as the default, not an afterthought. Here is the short version:
What Data We Collect
We collect minimal data to operate the website:
- Server logs — Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamp). These are retained for 30 days for security and debugging purposes and are never sold or shared.
- Contact form submissions — If you use our contact form, we receive your name, email, topic, and message. This is used solely to respond to your enquiry.
- Newsletter subscriptions — If you subscribe to our blog newsletter, we store your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
We do not collect:
- Files you upload or process through any DIPSAC tool
- Content of your documents, images, or any other media
- Behavioural data, purchase history, or user profiles
- Device fingerprints or cross-site identifiers
Browser-Based Processing
This is the most important section. When you use any DIPSAC tool:
- Your file is loaded directly into your browser's memory (RAM).
- Processing is performed by JavaScript and WebAssembly running on your device.
- The output is generated locally and downloaded directly to your device.
- No file data is transmitted over the internet at any point.
- Closing the browser tab clears all file data from memory immediately.
This architecture means we are technically incapable of accessing your files — not just that we choose not to, but that our infrastructure never receives them.
Third-Party Services
DIPSAC uses a minimal set of third-party services:
- Google Fonts — We load web fonts from Google Fonts. Google may log the font request (IP address, browser). See Google's privacy policy.
- Hosting / CDN — Our website is hosted on cloud infrastructure. The provider processes standard access logs as described above.
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, Hotjar, Mixpanel, Intercom, or any other behavioural analytics or advertising platforms.
Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights including:
- Right of access — Request a copy of data we hold about you.
- Right to erasure — Request deletion of your personal data (e.g. contact form submissions, newsletter subscription).
- Right to portability — Receive your data in a portable format.
- Right to object — Object to specific processing of your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@dipsac.com. We will respond within 30 days.
